PhD Trevor Girard, CSO
Trevor recently completed his PhD in the Department of Civil Engineering, Geo and Environmental Sciences at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany. His PhD research focused on the critical information needed during emergencies by responding agencies and the potentially disaster affected public. Trevor is therefore highly knowledgeable of the information needs of business owners and their customers before, during and after emergencies. Trevor has developed a best practice standard in this regard and has investigated the strengths and weaknesses of a variety of communication channels and strategies.
