Unified Natural Hazard Risk Mitigation Exploratory Decision Support System (Un-HARMED)
Risklayer GmbH has collaborated with the University of Adelaide to develop Un-HARMED software, a spatial decision support system (DSS) for planners and policy makers to help reduce risk from various natural hazards and transform risk reduction planning in Australia. The system has been applied to the cities of Adelaide, Melbourne and the states of Tasmania, and Western Australia in collaboration with governments and uses our stochastic risk modeling technology to generate land use change and future risk scenarios as well as current risk.
The second phase of the project focused on multi-hazard analysis and risk mitigation for the Government of Western Australia.
